01Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how Pandiri Digital Marketing Private Limited (“DMAT Academy”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when you visit claude.dmat.in (the “Website”), enrol in the “Claude తో Digital Marketing” 7-day live online course (the “Course”), join our batch WhatsApp group, or contact us.
We follow the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) as applicable. By using the Website or enrolling in the Course, you agree to this policy.
02Information we collect
a) Information you give us
- Identity & contact: name, mobile / WhatsApp number, email address (entered at checkout or when you contact us).
- Messages: anything you send us on WhatsApp, email or the contact form, including doubts and feedback.
- Optional details you choose to share, such as your city, profession or goals.
b) Payment information
Payments are processed by Razorpay, an RBI-authorised payment aggregator. We receive only the payment ID, order details, amount, status, and the name, email and phone you entered. We never receive or store your card number, CVV, UPI PIN or net-banking password. Razorpay’s own privacy policy applies to the data it processes.
c) Information collected automatically
- IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, time spent, referring link and approximate location.
- Cookies and similar technologies (see section 04).
d) Live class participation
Live classes may be recorded. If you speak, turn on your camera, or type in chat during a live class, your display name, voice, video or messages may appear in the recording shared with your batch.
03How we use your information
- To confirm your enrolment, add you to the batch WhatsApp group and share class links, recordings and resources.
- To answer your questions, doubts, and support or refund requests.
- To send course-related messages — schedule updates, reminders, recordings, certificates.
- To verify payments, issue invoices/receipts, process refunds, and meet tax, accounting and legal obligations.
- To tell you about our other programs and offers (for example during or after the course). You can opt out at any time.
- To measure and improve our ads and Website (for example, how many visitors started checkout).
- To prevent fraud, misuse, piracy of course content, and to enforce our Terms & Conditions.
We process your data on the basis of your consent and for legitimate uses permitted under the DPDP Act, such as performing the service you paid for and complying with law.
04Cookies, Meta Pixel & Google Analytics
We use cookies and similar tools from third parties, including Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram), Google Analytics 4 and, where used, Google Ads tags. They help us understand events such as page views, video plays, checkout starts and purchases, so we can measure and improve our advertising.
These providers may collect information such as your IP address, browser details and cookie identifiers, under their own privacy policies.
Your choices: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, and manage ad preferences in your Meta Ad Preferences and Google Ad Settings. Blocking cookies does not stop the Course from working.
05WhatsApp group notice
- Please do not share sensitive personal information in the group.
- We do not allow members to spam or misuse other members’ numbers; report any misuse to us and we will act on it.
- You can exit the group at any time. WhatsApp is owned by Meta, and WhatsApp’s own privacy policy applies to your use of it.
07How we protect your data
We use reasonable security practices such as HTTPS encryption, access controls, strong passwords and limited access to student data. Payment data is handled only by Razorpay under PCI-DSS standards. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data and will inform you and the authorities of a personal data breach as required by law.
08How long we keep data
- Enrolment and contact data: for as long as you have course access (including the 2-year recording access) and a reasonable period after, for support and records.
- Payment and invoice records: for the period required under applicable tax and accounting laws.
- Marketing messages: until you opt out.
- Analytics data: as per the retention settings of Google and Meta.
When data is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.
09Your rights
Under the DPDP Act, you have the right to:
- Ask what personal data we hold about you and how it is used.
- Correct, complete or update your data.
- Ask us to erase your data (except where we must keep it by law, e.g. payment records).
- Withdraw consent for marketing messages at any time — just reply “STOP” on WhatsApp or email us.
- Nominate another person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity.
- Raise a grievance with our Grievance Officer, and if not satisfied, approach the Data Protection Board of India.
To use any of these rights, email contact@dmat.in from your registered email, or WhatsApp us from your registered number.
10Children
The Course is meant for persons aged 18 years and above. If you are below 18, you may enrol only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who must make the payment and accept these terms. We do not knowingly run targeted advertising or behavioural tracking aimed at children.
11Third-party websites & tools
The Website and Course refer to third-party tools and sites (such as Claude, ChatGPT, Google, Meta, Make.com, Canva). When you sign up for or use them, their own terms and privacy policies apply. We are not responsible for their practices.
